Conservatories are a lovely addition to any house, although they have one major flaw….the ROOF!

At NUROOF we aim to solve this problem by adding a solid light-weight, fully insulated roof. By choosing NUROOF, we will install a fully insulated roof system so your room can be used in all seasons, not just a few weeks of the year.

By having a fully insulated tiled roof from NUROOF, you reduce sun glare and unwanted heat entering the room on warm sunny days and also stops cold air entering and heat leaving on them cold miserable days, giving you a room you can finally control the temperature in. Another great benefit to having a NUROOF installed is that rain and traffic noise are greatly reduced, making this an ideal living\office or even playroom for the kids.  The options of a new all year round room from NUROOF are endless.

Assessment

The first step in the NuRoof methodology is the assessment. This is how we evaluate the approach we will take to complete your new NuRoof.

We will contact you to arrange a time thats best to visit your property. From there we will discuss what you want from your NuRoof and how it can be done.

Outside Works

A step by step guide on how we complete the outside works required for your NuRoof 

  1. Polycarbonate / glass roof panels removed 
  2. New structural timbers added to the existing aluminium structure 
  3. Roof felt, Zinc / Aluminium lightweight tiles fitted (Lead flashings if required) 
  4. New PVC soffit, Fascia and Guttering installed

Inside Work

A step by step guide on how we complete the inside works required for your NuRoof 

  1. 75mm foil back insulation added between rafters, allowing good air flow between the new insulation and roof tiles.
  2. 50mm foil back insulation added across rafters.
  3. New ceiling joists paced at 8ft centres forming a level ceiling approx. 2.4m/8ft high.
  4. Wool insulation placed at ceiling height.
  5. Ceiling plaster boarded and skimmed.
  6. New Down lighters (spot lights) fitted.
